Wow...I hope that's not too weird because my pointer fingernail grows faster then the rest too. It's even pointier than the others; I always have to reshape them so all my fingernails look the same. That is weird. My thumb nails grow faster than all the others. I guess everyones got a certain nail that grows faster for easy ((PICKING))...Get it!!! LOL...hehehehe

Not all colored girls have extra long finger nails. I'm colored and I have the shortest nails ever that absolutely refuse to grow. Although I'd like long nails, I'd like a sensible length not the ones that are long enough to spear someone and kill them. Perhaps the ones you've seen have those loooooooong nails and this influenced your thinking. Anyways, this is just to let you know. The colored girls I've seen with those type of nails are the ones in those Nigerian movies... and some of them don't look really good with them so I guess it all depends on the woman whether she's white, black, etc.
probobly just fake for most of the girls.... im not ';colored'; and i have vary long nails that are natural
My bf's sisters are black (as is my boyfriend), but his sisters don't have those vampire nails. Some girls just get those because they're too blind to realize how ridiculous they look!

the only tools you need are nail clippers and a nail file. the file isn't really necessary, but it might help. If you want to square off your nails, which i would suggest, then cut off the tips of your nails in a straight line. If the corners are rough, then file them slightly. I do it all the time, so i know that this works.

Try using hot pepper or cheyenne powder under your nails, or on top of your nails, I guess you can mix it with handlotion or vaseline, so that it will stay on your nails, without something making it stick to your nails, it will fall off.
Or you can just tell yourself, that you want beautiful nails, and that you are going to let them grow. And reward yourself, in stages, for not biting your nails. And in the end you will be proud of yourself, and maybe you will get compliments from people, after you have your nails manicured and maybe have some fancy nail polish put on your nails!!!
