I play softball and i got hit on the finger and now my nail came off..what do i do?

i was bunting and my middle finger slipped and the ball hit it and it is fast pich and the ball jamed it and my nail just fell offI play softball and i got hit on the finger and now my nail came off..what do i do?
That happened to me...





DONT put a sticky band-aid on it! It KILLS when u take it off. Ice it for a few hours (maybe like 2 hours max) then get a finger splint and wrap a tissue around ur finger...

Also, put some anti-bacteria stuff on it because it can get infected sometimes, even if it's not an open cut or anything..
