My boss is in extreme pain with his one hand , the finger nails are basically gone , he sleeps with a latex glove filled with lotion so he can sleep . He confided in me yesterday , looks like a fungus..but he his cancer doc, has not helped his hand issue . turns out he had this problem b4 he knew he had cancer and the chemo has worsened it.Please any suggestion to help him get relief..one of the sweetest people i know . One i know the latex is bad idea, somepeople have no tolerance, some lotions have petroleum and that il eat away .( ill shut up now) any help is appriciated ty Finger nail issues.. pain nd help ?
he should go to the emergency room, my boss had chemo and her nails weaken but never like what your boss nails sound like, in the emergency room they should give him some sort of treatment to control the pain and refer him to a specialist other than his primary doctor, which obviously isn't doing his job
